Support groups

"There is no greater love than that between a mother and a child... and no greater grief."

Support groups = finding someone who can hear you because they are on the path of grief .This is a safe place to listen and learn that there are others who have possibly felt the same emotions and had the same feelings. For me it is a place where I can say anything. As much as I love to say Micah's name to everyone I meet and i truly am blessed by the love of many people in my everyday life, I am grateful for this place where I can say anything. The families I have met in these groups is also another level of support. The drive for me to attend these groups is quite far so many times I would start driving and tell myself thee price of gas and that this has to be the last time. Then on the drive home I felt like I found an outlet. Sometimes we made projects in memory of our angel or there were parts of the nights conversations that just so deeply touched me. I was able to say whatever was on my mind and the room of mommies and dads too, was there to chime in and listen when necessary.

DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC SOME GROUPS MEET VIRTUALLY AND OTHERS DO NOT. CHANGES WILL BE MADE TO THE LIST AS NECESSARY BUT IT IS STILL BEST TO REACH OUT TO THE GROUP LEADER.
