After my Micah passed the first group events that I attended were around Mother's Day. One was a butterfly release. The auditorium was packed with families who wanted to show their love and honor their baby. On this lonely road, I saw I was not alone. These families all at different places in their grief had one thing in common, love. I attended a few of these events to honor Micah during the first year. Then the pandemic happened. I was grateful for the virtual walk and virtual candlelight vigil. I had no control of course, but I wanted to continue honoring my son in the ways I did last year. The virtual events were not the same put they have been supportive none the less.
